FAU concluded their season in the CFP tonight as a well coached Mizzou team came into Boca and put up a strong effort. Ultimately the Owls had their chances but turnovers whether it was a fumble or a pick hurt big time as Mizzou capitalized well off them. Despite some chunk plays late it was not enough to close in on them and ultimately not only the better team won but the better coached team won tonight. Hats off to Mizzou. FAU sets their sight on the semifinal game of the beefy cup against Utah in a chance to really redeem themselves with a bounce back performance and hopefully end the year on a high note.
Coach Mjkemp before this game against FAU was 0-2 in CFP games losing both times to coach Vegas.
