UMass drops another home contest this time to the SEC foe Texas A&M by a score of 42-7. he coaches in this game have a fun rivalry going in the NDL albeit a very one sided one currently as coach mcx79 has not found a play style that fits his teams.
In this seasons edition the Aggies landed a few big pass plays by beating poor coverage and other times by simply beating the coverage. UMass did make a fantastic goal line stand in the 2nd quarter but promptly turned the ball back over. The Minutemen did sustain several drives just failed to show on the scoreboard. WR Galban found the endzone on a short pass giving him 2 TD's on the young season. The UMass runner had a decent game managing 84 yards on just 15 carries. Things are trending the right way for UMass but this wasnt the game for them to win.
