The South Carolina Gamecocks got their first victory of the season in a game much closer than score indicates, as USC would take home a 49-21 victory on the road at Kent State.
The Gamecocks would be led on the ground today as Rocket Sanders led the team with 136 yards and 2 scores. Juju McDowell would follow with 64 yards and a score of his own.
Robby Ashford would also get cpl carries and tallied a touchdown himself.
Nyck Harbour was Lanorris Sellers top receiver through the air with a score and 63 yards.
It was also a solid day for the defense most of the day, as the snagged 5 ints, 2 for scores. As Emory Floyd grabbed 2 ints, one taken back for 6. Debo Williams would pick one off and take it in for a score as well.
