Colorado State came into the first home game of the year and Beercop's first game as head man. Unfortunately, for everyone involved on the CSU side the game got out of hand quickly. USC drove the ball down CSU throat and never looked back as they dominated offensively and defensively. CSU will lick thier wounds and head to Colorado in Week 3 to take on the Buffalo.
The USC Trojans crushed Colorado State in a 35-0 shutout, delivering their most dominant performance under Coach Texan in his four-year tenure in the NDL. The defense was relentless, forcing five interceptions while holding Colorado State to just 5 rushing yards and 116 passing yards.
On offense, USC piled up 179 rushing yards and 185 through the air. Zachariah Branch hauled in two touchdown passes, showcasing his big-play ability in a game that was never close. Everyday is not your day but today was ours best off luck to Coach Beercop in his journey this season.
