(Charlotte, NC) - The Charlotte 49ers and Middle State Tennessee battled to a final score of 38 - 10 in favor of MTSU to kickoff the S32 NDL regular season. Middle State Tennessee offense was lead by two stand out profances from their two star players, QB #11 Nicholas Vattiato who was 16/19 on the day with 311 yards passing, 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Middle State's RB Frank Peasant was most impressive with 131 yards rushing on 18 attempts and scoring 2 TDs on the day. Charlotte QB #1 Max Brown did his best to match but was only able to record 226 yards passing on 22/33 attempts. he threw for 0 TDs and 2 INTs
Charlotte next week travels out to SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey for a week 2 match up vs the BIG10's own Rutgers University.
