UMass falls to 0-3

Game started a little slow as far as the scoreboard goes but Texas Tech spread out the UMass defense and had them running all across the field like a baseline tennis match. After forcing their first turnover on the season Umass was unable to convert it into points and the Red Raiders did not make the same mistake again. They quickly score to go up 7-0 and forced a turnover of their own and made it 14-0 after 1 quarter. UMass did get some first downs but was never able to pose a threat to score. Texas Tech kicked a FG as the 1st half ran out making it 24-0. In the second half the teams traded possessions with only Texas Tech adding a TD in the 3rd quarter. Not many bright spots in this one for the Minutemen. They did not muster much on the offensive side of things and were gassed by the 4th on defense.
