This game was over by half-time!
Initially, both defenses were stopping the opposition.
Then Penn State finally found the endzone on a 34 yard run by HB Singleton.
Then Kobe King got an INT that he returned to the house for 26 yards and Penn State found themselves up by 14 points at the end of the 1st quarter.
The score at the end of 1: Penn State 14 - Maryland 0.
Second Quarter was all Penn State.
They scored on a 1 yard run by HB Singleton.
Maryland was running an option left and they pitched it right to Abdul Carter who returned the fumble for 30 yards and the score!
They added a 22 yard FG just before the half by K Sahaydak.
The score at the half: Penn State 31 - Maryland 0.
Then, in my best Lee Corso voice, "Not so fast my friend!"
Penn State pulled their starters just after receiving the kickoff in the 2nd half.
They did nothing but run the ball on offense.
On Defense, they were running formations like 5-2, etc, trying to give Maryland a little life.
Well that plan backfired real quick.
Maryland scored on an 84 yard pass to TE Howard.
They stopped the rushing offense of Penn State and after another good pass to TE Howard, they scored on a 1 yard run by Hemby. This time they converted on the 2 point conversion.
Score at the end of the 3rd: Penn State 31 - Maryland 15
Penn State paused the game to put my starters back in and not sure what happened but I hit the button to back out of the pause and the game resumed.
I was then out of timeouts.
I messaged coach Triplesteezed, but no response.
So I was stuck with my 3rd string QB, HB and WRs in the game.
Penn State managed to drive down the field and score on a 17 yard run by HB Wallace.
They are up 38 - 15.
Maryland drove down and scored on a 48 yard pass to Prather and converted the 2 point conversion.
Score is Penn State 38 - Maryland 23.
Maryland's defense holds strong and they get the ball back.
They then drive down and score on a 44 yard pass to Smith Jr. and are now down 38-30.
Penn State manages to get a first down and are then able to kneel it out to hold on for the win!

Lesson learned by me, I will use the formation subs from now on instead of a mass sub, so I always have the easy option to put them back in.
