The BYU Cougars have hit six wins for the first time in the new era. It is also Coach Bagel's first time reaching the six win mark. In a game against the Arizona State Sun Devils, the BYU Cougars owned the passing game on both sides of the ball, getting 332 passing yards and holding ASU to 93 passing yards. BYU remained fairly consisted this game putting up just one touchdown in each of the quarters, which was enough to get the win. It was an 8 point, 21-13, game late in the fourth quarter. But with a receiving touchdown by LJ Martin and a Sione Moa forced fumble recovered by Jakob Robinson, the game was sealed and the BYU Cougars knelled the game away.
