Heading into hostile territory Colorado was in for a fight.
Colorado quickly punted and Cincinnati drove dwon the field with a methodical scoring drive, one of many on the day.
It is tough to fully say a game is over in the first quarter but after a pick six late in the first Colorado was in serious trouble. A team that likes to run in neutral situations and be slow and methodical now had a 6 point lead.
Colorado was able to score before the half to cut the lead to 17-7, but the Bearcats got the ball out of the half and marched right back down the field. Colorado had no answers on defense. But the Colorado offense kept trying scoring again to cut the lead back down to a 2 score game. But on a 3rd and 4 Cincinnati just about sealed it with a long touchdown to get up 3 scores again.
The loss puts a damper on Colorado's playoff hopes with tough games against Texas Tech and Utah incoming.
