Missouri delivered a well-rounded performance but it was not a enough as they loose to the Alabama Dcanady tide, racking up 530 yards of total offense and showcasing dominance on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Brady Cook was highly efficient, completing 20 of 30 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns without turning the ball over, earning a passer rating of 160.9. He spread the ball effectively, with Theo Wease Jr. leading the way with 109 receiving yards and a touchdown on six catches, while Luther Burden III added 73 yards despite a couple of drops. On the ground, Nate Noel carried the load with 140 rushing yards on 20 attempts, averaging an impressive 7.0 yards per carry, as Missouri tallied 225 rushing yards overall. The offensive line protected well, allowing zero sacks and paving the way for a 6.0-yard rushing average. Defensively, the Tigers were sharp and aggressive, holding the opponent to 402 total yards, forcing two turnovers, and limiting them to 0-of-5 on third downs. Chuck Hicks led the defense with 11 tackles, Zion Young added a sack and two tackles for loss, and Toriano Pride Jr. recorded the game’s only interception. Missouri’s special teams were equally solid—kicker Blake Craig was perfect on the day, nailing all three of his field goal attempts including a long of 55 yards, while punter Luke Bauer averaged 54 yards on three punts. The Tigers also demonstrated impressive discipline, committing zero penalties and controlling the clock with 14:16 of possession. With strong execution in all phases—offense, defense, and special teams—Missouri showcased the depth and efficiency that could make them a dangerous team down the stretch.
