In one of the most surprising results of the week, UCLA pulled off a stunning 23-20 upset over No. 20 Penn State in a tightly contested matchup at home.
Penn State led 7-3 at halftime after a defensive first half, but both offenses came alive in the third quarter, each putting up two touchdowns in a fast-paced stretch. The turning point came in the fourth quarter, when UCLA’s defense made a statement, intercepting the Penn State quarterback for the third time in the game. That critical turnover helped seal the win for a Bruins who move to 2 and 0 in conference play.

The 3rd quarter the offenses got things going as both teams added 2 TDs during the 3rd quarter.
The score at the end of 3: Penn State 21 - UCLA 17.
The 4th quarter, was another defensive battle as UCLA adds a TD, but Penn State blocks the extra point.
UCLA is up 23-21.
The ensuing drive, Penn State throws an INT.
UCLA's final drive, they are running the ball and getting stopped.
On 3rd down, they decide to pass it on a curl route.
The Penn State LBer jumps the route, but somehow, the ball makes it right through the LBers hands and into the hands of the UCLA receiver!
They kneel the next play to end the game.
