Article By: Navy lined up and said we are going to play smash mouth football. And so, they did!! WB Eli Heidenreich ran for over 220 yards on 32 carries as he gashed the Falcon front four all night long. Navy took a commanding 21-0 lead as they road their work horse thru the first 2 quarters. The Falcons lone high light came on a Luke Freer 56-yard punt that pinned Navy inside their own 1-yard line. Air Force would get a safety and make it 21-2 right before the half. The falcons would score the next 9 points to make it 21-11, but then Navy established their dominance once again up front and score on a long run by Chatam. The Falcons would add a late TD on a John Busha run and a 2-point conversion by Dylan Carson to make the final 28-19...but this one was over early in the game
Once again Air Force loses on the road Coach Ank and the Falcons are just 1-8 in road games since Ank took over for the Falcons Something has to change
