Kennesaw State Almost blows lead

After a back and forth first quarter that had turnovers from each team Kennesaw State took charge in the second quarter as Drew Edwards broke off multiple big runs turning into 21 points. After a sluggish third quarter Kennesaw State got into cruise control in the 4th.

After allowing a touchdown to close the gap to 24-14 Kennesaw State inexplicably pitched an option with under 4 minutes to go that was returned for a touchdown making it 24-21.

Needing a sustained drive to run out the clock the Owls looked to Drew Edwards to get the job done, then finally a key third down conversion to Tykeem Wallace helped enable the Owls to run out the clock.

Drew Edwards again had a great game rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown. The defense was the story as they forced 4 turnovers in the win.
