Coming off the heels of the predicted blowout loss against Iowa during the first Wildes Bowl, Louisiana Tech students left the bleachers disappointed once more as Ball State took to their turf and dominated. LT largely were not able to meet Ball States offense, and it was their own offensive mishaps that further cut into this wound.
Hope shined through when the big man Zion Nason recovered a QB fumble and returned it to the Cardinals one yard line, but an out of position O-Lineman, #73 would drop a wide open pass in the end zone, turning it back over on downs.
Coach Wildes has stated that the team was not organized or refined in their matchups or play calls these last two games, but promises that the team we see at Kent State next week and forward will be one that lives up to the Bulldogs' legacy.
