The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Head Coach Wasted Memory came to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and left with an easy victory. UNLV struggled in last season's game at Western Kentucky and could not run one bit, and this game, the line opened holes for runningback Ja Den Thomas, who surprisingly ran for an efficient 15 for 96 yards but could not capitalize in the red zone, throwing three interceptions, and yes, another one for a pick six returned for a touchdown. Head Coach Black Rain has had issues with his QB throwing interceptions the past two seasons, and this season started the same way and had no answers to counter the offense of Head Coach Wasted Memory. His offense made timely throws, and the Rebels defense could not get the Hilltoppers offense off the field, especially on third downs. The Hilltoppers converted almost every third down conversion, and it was frustrating again. Head Coach Wasted Memory had timely throws, and his record at WKU is not excellent, but his get-right game was against the Rebels, which is what it takes to win. Head Coach Black Rain praises Head Coach Wasted Memory as he stuck with his game plan: Man, great game, Brother! Good luck the rest of the way, man, as one day, UNLV will win. The Runnin Rebels have to cut down on the interceptions to give Head Coach Black Rain a chance in every game if not a long season ahead. Hats off to the offense of Western Kentucky; the quarterback had timely passes, and his tight end and wide receivers were wide open on every third down; it was so frustrating! Timed Passes and cover shells did not fool Head Coach Wasted Memory, as he saw right through those disguises. It looked like man coverage, but they were zones. Good Luck the rest of the way, Brother! Great Game!
