How Drewwbacca is still a coach in the NDL, is completely beyond Drewwbacca.
An actual fucking embarrassment, he's barely capable of not losing by 35 literally, every single week.
A paltry 147 yards of offense, as opposed to ODU's 507 yards, add in 3 gift interceptions and you'll quickly see how it got to be 48-13.
How Drewwbacca can so often move the ball and then either gift a T.O. or make the red zone and then go extra chromosomal and not be able to do a fucking thing is beyond comprehension.
The O-Line of this team has no pulse. 66 rushing yards on 23 attempts, and ODU's front 7 living in the UNT backfield virtually ensured this wasn't a game from the very start. MarionCounty plays absolutely suffocating D, and even on my best day I likely wouldn't have faired any better.
Expect to see Drewwbacca at or near the bottom of the NDL yet again. God willing I make S32.
After a series of infractions at his last stop in Gainesville, Coach Marion County now finds himself in Norfolk, Virginia with the Old Dominion Monarchs. While the controversial coach has his critics, one undeniable thing is his ability to win ball games.
Old Dominion stormed to a 48-13 win in their home and season opener against the visiting Mean Green of North Texas.
Freshman QB Colton Joseph had 3 TDs in the air and 2 on the ground, including a 30-yard scamper on an option keeper in the second quarter that broke the game wide open.
Senior RB Aaron Young showed a glimpse of his talent rushing for 162 yards and a TD on just 15 carries and undersized slot receiver Isaiah Page had 6 catches for 123 yards and a score. Additional TDs were caught by TE Pat Conroy and WR Diante Vines.
While the offense hummed, the defense was the story of the day with Coach MC's suffocating 3-3-5 scheme allowed only 147 yards total with the Mean Green offense unable to muster up any kind of momentum.
MLB EJ Green was a menace on the day with 8 tackles, 4 TFLs, 2 sacks, a pick, and a diving pass breakup on a 3rd down screen.
The Monarch defense totaled 15 TFLs on the day and was a constant presence in the Mean Green backfield.
When interviewed after the game, Coach MC stated, "They all wanted me out of football—especially that underachiever in Greenville, NC, who just got fired from Utah and that ex-cop in Pullman. They know the talent. I'm brash, bold, and sometimes I bend the rules, but one thing I do is win. We aren't looking back, only forward, and with the new rule changes, we'll be fine. Welcome to Old DoWinion 2025."
