Coach Vic gets first win at UCLA

In a highly contested matchup the bruins came out victorious and came away with their first win on the season.

A rough first half only saw 7 points by both teams and the only 2 turnovers of the game ( both interceptions) as a new attack reigned supreme the run game was relentless with over a hundred yards in the first bookmarked by TJ harden 1 yard score.

The second half was a back forth of can you match this as Liberty with their qb Kaidon Salter used his legs and his arm for a game total 286 yards and he scored both tds for liberty one thru the air and one on the ground as the flames came back to tie it in the fourth quarter at 14. Then UCLA with well timed passing calls drove slowly down the field and scored with a lil over 2 minutes left in the game. The flames marched down the field but got stuck near the 35 yard line and couldn’t convert a 4th down thus ending the game.

We asked coach Vic did he like some of the changes he made he said “ Yes I did we worked very hard this week to change up a lot of things” We then asked will we see even more changes moving forward, he answered “ Yes you will we will get better as a team and will not let our first two games define us”
