Minnesota’s balance in both the run and pass game, along with their defensive tenacity, secured a statement win as they continue their season with strong momentum.
BYU went into this hoping to pick up their first win on the season, but quickly realized that wasn't the case. Minnesota had an early 4th down conversion to extend their lead to a two score lead and never looked back. From there, BYU was never able to get back into the game. Amassing 5 turnovers, the offense wasn't helping the team either. The offense had a lackluster day not even reaching 400 yards of total offense. Retzlaff continues to struggle with interceptions. BYU falls to 0-3 on the season. Fans expectations coming into the season are all but gone.
