After a stop on defense, Nebraska would drive down and get a fg at the end of the second half to lead 10-7.
Nebraska would score with 3 min left in the 3rd qtr to go up 17-7. This would prove to be the end of their scoring as Iowa went into their hurry up and scored a TD on 1min 30 sec drive to get within 3.
After an interception, Iowa's defense would stall, and then get their game tying fg attempt blocked.
Two long exhausting drives in the 4th qtr would see Iowa kick the game winning fg as time expired to win 20-17.
Nebraska saw its hopes for spot in BIG Championship game fade away as fall short against rival Iowa by a score of 20-17.
This one proved to be an old fashioned slobber knocker as both teams relied on their running game and defenses . Iowa though made things happen in their passing game while the Huskers struggled to find open receivers.
