1st Qtr-
Cardinals score in under a minute on two big plays. 0-7

UofL had to settle for a field goal after getting down to the redzone on a long 47 yard pass. 0-10.
Pitt goes three and out but did gain three yards to get on the plus side.
UofL gets stopped for a three and out however Nwabuko gets hit and fumbles on a two yard punt return giving the Cardinals the ball right back.
UofL would waste no time and score from 26 yards out. 0-17
Pitt would toss a pick on the next play.
UofL would run three straight plays and miss a 52 yard kick.

UofL would get a big 40 yard pass and punch it in from the 1 2 plays later. 0-24

Pitt would get two more first downs and get into the red zone but an ill advised throw to the flat tied up the picks to first downs at 4.

Pitt would get three first downs and blow the pick to first down number out of the water. They would fail on 3rd down and have to settle for a 46 yard field goal to get on the board. 3-31.
UofL would run seven plays to end the quarter.
4th Qtr-
UofL still with the ball would finish off a 12 play drive with a 40 yard field goal. 3-34
Pitt would get a first and get a guy open who turned up field and got laid out for the second fumble and six overall turnover of the game.
UofL would run out the remaining 4:30 to finally end the stomping.
