Rutgers traveled to Maryland and took on a good Terps team. The Knighst got up early 7-0 but the Terps would battle back and take a 14-10 half time lead. Maryland would add another touchdown in the 3rd and hold on 21-10 for a nice home win.
Beercop said “Both his lines could not hold up to Maryland’s stout lines. Our defense made some individual plays but didn’t play team ball. This team has talent but is weak mentally as the road kills are a their confidence”.
