In a game filled with dramatic swings, the UTSA Roadrunners pulled off a thrilling 42-35 overtime victory over North Texas at home, overcoming a deep deficit and sealing the win with a clutch defensive stand.
North Texas appeared in control in the first half, capitalizing on a 90-plus-yard pick-six and adding another touchdown early in the third quarter to stretch their lead to 28-10. However, UTSA refused to go away, mounting a determined comeback and forcing overtime with a late field goal.
Once in overtime, the Roadrunners wasted no time, scoring on the very first play to take their first lead of the game. North Texas, facing a do-or-die situation, reached fourth-and-goal from the 12-yard line but failed to convert, sealing UTSA’s dramatic victory.
Officially, we have reached the basement in Denton. Not even an 18 point first half lead is enough to buoy UNT and Drewwbacca to a victory......
Ya boy, Ikaika Ragsdale popped the fuck off, again..... ! 18/183/1TD.
Chandler Morris managed to go T.O. free for the first time this season, and connected on some sneaky good play calls by Drewwbacca to give UTSA a chance. Blair Conwright had a nice day receiving, 2 catches 105 yds and a TD. But he was no match for UTSA stand out, Devin McCuin, 9/256/1TD... Sheesh, what a fuckin day!
