Boise maintained dominance throughout the game led by RB Jeanty who carried the ball 34 times for 366 yards and 3 tds. The Aztecs countered with a balance attack; QB Danny Oneil threw for 364 yards and RB's Marquez Cooper (90 yards) and Kenan Christon (79 yards 1 TD) also contributed.

Boise's coach was disappointed after but ready for the opportunity at redemption. BigZ was complimentary of the Boise team and coach after and grateful for the wind blowing his way. "We were fortunate to get away with a win, Irocca is an incredible coach and played an amazing game. The last couple minutes went all our way. We hope for an opportunity for a rematch with the juggernauts on that side."
