The Valley Trophy is staying in Fresno after a 34-13 Bulldogs victory. San Jose State had no answer on defense and the Bulldogs won this game early. Emmet Brown struggled so much that he was benched at halftime and Walker Eget took the snaps. Eget was able to move the ball down the field and scored on the SJSU 1st possession of the 2nd half. Howver, there was too much of a deficit and the Spartans could not eat into the lead. Chalk IV had 76 yards on the ground while Stewart had 116 receiving yards. Eget went 12 of 14 for 176 yards and 1 late INT. He also scored on a 7 yd scamper. There is a lot of work to be done the rest of the season. Will Eget get the start on the next game or will Brown turn things around?
