Iowa Gets Back on Track

In a game between two coaches who have played each other every season, it wasnn't surprising to see a 3-0 score after 1 quarter.
Early in the second Iowa would have another drive stall and go up 6-0 with another Steven's fg. After a few more punts Northwestern would punch in with 2 min left to go up 7-6. Iowa was able to drive down and take the lead back before the half with a TD and make 14-6. With 5 sec left SS Nwankpa would pick off a pass and take it to the end zone to put the Hawkeyes up 21-6 at the half.

This would prove to be enough as Iowa would play Iowa football, and grind out some first downs while not making any turnovers in the second half. Iowa's defense performed much better, holding the Cats to 15 points while forcing two turnovers.
