UTSA defeated Rice 35-14 after a dominant second half. The Roadrunners jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but the Owls battled back to tie it 14-14 at halftime.

UTSA took over in the third quarter, scoring 21 unanswered points to put the game out of reach. Their defense shut down Rice the rest of the way, sealing an impressive victory.
