The Southern Miss Golden Eagles went on the road to take on ULM after some scheduling conflicts the weeks prior. The rust was clear after the Eagles struggled to get started on offense and found themselves down 7 at the end of the first quarter. Allowing a kick return touchdown was the last straw for head coach Sauxy as they put up 3 touchdowns before halftime and kept a comfortable lead until the end of the game. Rodemaker looked like he finally met his match as he threw his first two interceptions of the season but still managed to put up 5 touchdowns and ultimately carrying the Golden Eagles to their fourth win on the season. Southern Miss looks to keep on form through the next stretch of games that include some tough teams such as Toledo, Louisiana, and Arkansas State.
