In a complete demolition, the ODU Monarchs played there best game of the season by going to Atlanta, Georiga and blanking the Georgia State Panthers 34-0.
From the opening whistle, the Monarch defense swarmed the Panthers, allowing only 99 yards of total offense all game. The defense also forced 3 turnovers, with Safety Patrick Smith-Young reeling in all 3.
Offensively, the Monarchs were led by Sun Belt player of the year candidate Aaron Young who rushed for 104 yards and a TD on 18 carries.
Colton Joseph was able to throw for 3 TDs with 2 of them going to his utility TE Pat Conroy who racked up 111 yards on 7 catches for his best game of the season.
The Monarchs look to continue their winning ways at home next week vs. Texas State.
