Bowling Green got off to a hot start in week 7 against NIU. Intercepting the first pass of the game and then using 2 plays to take an early 7-0 lead on a TD pass to Harold Fannin . It was more of the same as the game went on. NIU was plagued by the turnover as they threw 5 more interceptions and committed a fumble. This was by far the most complete game of the season on both sides of the ball for Bowling Green. Connor Bazelak had his best game of the season as well Tossing 5 TDs and 0 interceptions. Improving his season total to 17TD to 13 INT.
