What seemed to be a defensive struggled turned in to a shootout.
The first quarter had no scoring after Jax State had a big 4th and inches stop in the red zone, but the defensive battle wouldnt last.
Kennesaw State jumped out scoring 24 points in the 2nd as Jax State added 14 of their own as there was bit play after big play.
The top running backs for each team combined for nearly 500 yards rushing. In the end the Owls were able to make a few more defensive stops and it was the difference. The Jax State passing game struggled outside a handful of big plays.
