In what was looking devastating for the Nasti Nati team, the Bearcats found themselves down 21-12 going into the 4th quarter. A 23-pt qtr where the offense finally came alive is what sealed the win for Cincinnati.
As TTU's Tahj Brooks went into the endzone for 4th TD of the game with 49 seconds left, the Bearcats found themselves back down after completing a comeback. But on 2nd and 10 from the Cincy 25, Sorsby found Smith for a 57 yard pass over the middle of the field, giving Cincy life. Shortly thereafter, Sorsby sealed off the drive with the go-ahead TD with a 4 yard TD run, his second TD run of the game.
Overall, Sorsby played well after his first half slump, ending up going 16 for 27 for 235 yards and 3 TD/2 INT.
The Bearcats have gone to 4-1 for the season, including 2-0 in conference play through Block 3.
