After a close and hard-fought 1st quarter, Louisiana came out on a mission the rest of the game tallying 49 of their 55 points in the last 3 quarters. Senior QB Chandler Fields led the way with 267 Passing Yards on 81% and 2 TDs while also running in for 2 more. With a statement game like that, these Ragin’ Cajuns have their eyes on a chance at a CFP berth.
It was a rough game for the UAB Blazers who had hoped to carry momentum against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns after their big win against the UCF Golden Knights just a few days earlier. Jacob Zeno and company had many promising drives but ultimately couldn't keep up with the Ragin' Cajuns due to a plethora of turnovers, including five interceptions. Additionally, the defense could do nothing to stop the Ragin' Cajuns Offense. The Blazers hope to move forward from this loss quickly to get this bad taste out of their mouths.
