Tallahassee, Florida - The Alabama Crimson Tide bounced back from their loss to LSU in a big way today, defeating the Seminoles of Florida State 37-10. Florida State came out on the first drive of the game and marched the ball down the field, but disaster would strike when Seminole quarterback Brock Glenn tossed an ill-advised pass into the hands of Crimson Tide cornerback Zabien Brown who returned the interception 95 yards for the score. From that moment on momentum swung in the favor of the Crimson Tide, who relied on a dominant rushing attack and opportunistic defense to walk away with the win. Alabama would finish the game with 254 yards on the ground to go along with 35 pancake blocks, 11 of which came from guard Tyler Booker. "This was a big win for us," said coach McDonagh at the post game press conference. "We needed to show that what happened against LSU wouldn't keep us down and we did just that." With the victory today the Tide now turn their attention to a conference clash in Tuscaloosa against the Oklahoma Sooners.
