In Toledo's final non-conference tune-up of the season, its obvious the Rockets have a lot to work on after giving up a season-high 52 points to the Rainbow Wahine of Hawaii.
Hawaii took a 7-0 on the only score of the 1st quarter, and led 10-0 before Toledo closed within 10-7. The teams then traded scores going into halftime. Toledo started with the ball in the second half, and was looking to take the lead when instead Tucker Gleason threw a pick that was returned 76 yards for a score. That put Hawaii up by 10, and Toledo could only manage a pair of touchdowns the rest of the way. Hawaii meanwhile scored 35 total points in the second half to put the game away.
