Miss St loses on the road to a superior Utah team. The game was close until the 2nd quarter when Utah opened up the offense while State could not move the ball.
The second half was more of the same Utah controlled the ball game and takes home an easy win.

In a commanding display, the Utah Utes triumphed over the Mississippi State Bulldogs, finishing the game with a score of 34-0. Quarterback Cameron Rising led the charge, completing 22 of 29 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing an impressive passer rating of 180.1. His main target, Brant Kuithe, was a standout performer with eight receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Micah Bernard contributed with a rushing touchdown as Utah's balanced offense piled up 311 total yards. The Utes' defense stifled the Bulldogs, forcing two turnovers and limiting them to just 67 total yards. Mississippi State struggled to find any rhythm, with only four first downs throughout the contest. With a perfect 7-for-13 on third downs, Utah efficiently converted opportunities, securing a dominant victory.
