Falcons miss on almost every passAztecs scalp Falcons
Article By: In a rematch of a Beefy Cup game the Air Force Falcons welcomed the Aztecs to Colorado. SDSU would let Air Force get some fake confidence early on as the two teams traded early interceptions but the Falcons would punch it in from 8 yards out. SDSU would quickly counter the score coming from 58 yards out and then it was all SDSU in the second quarter as they would score 24 unanswered to take the lead into the break.
The second half wasn't much better for the Falcons as SDSU continued to carve up their defense like some left over turkey. The Falcons would find the endzone twice and eat up clock like some apple pie as they accepted their defeat and put their tail between their legs and left Falcon stadium getting smacked around by the Aztecs.

Article By: In a rematch (Beefy Cup) of two veterans in the NDL, The SDSU Aztecs defeated the AFA Falcons 48-22.
In a game matching to known running attacks, the San Diego State Passing Game was the story.
Aztecs Ja'Shaun Poke, led the passing attack with 5 receptions of 187 yards and 4 touchdowns while RB Marquez Cooper continued his strong on the ground with 19 carries and 117 yards and a touchdown. Air Force offense showed strong early on the ground led by Cade Harris 13 carries and 133 yards and a touchdown. While the Aztecs pass game found success, Air Force struggled in the air completing just 3 passes on 12 attempts which allowed the Aztecs to move to victory.
Coach Z was satistfied with the win but focused on whats ahead after the game... "GG to coach ICE, We love that guy and have nothing but respect for him and his program. We were grateful to get out of here with a win. We need to continue to focus on improved play as we look ahead to UNLV and New Mexico. We have a goal of playing for the MWC title, but must conquer some well coached teams. "
