Memphis (10-2, 7-1) wrapped up its regular season with a 45-26 win over Tulane this evening.
Things looked bad early on as Tulane jumped out to a 14-0 advantage thanks to a pair some precise deep passes to Mario Williams. Memphis who struggled all game running the ball finally got in the end zone making it 14-7 Tulane at half.
Tulane didn't waste anytime increasing their lead as Makhi Hughes out raced the entire Tiger defense for a 71 yard td run. All Memphis from that point on though, as the Defense didn't appreciate how cocky Hughes was on that TD run. The Tigers D went on an interception frenzy with a grand total of 9 for the game including not one, not two but three pick sixes.
With the win the Tigers secured yet another 10 win season and their spot in the AAC Championship game with a potential matchup vs rival UAB
