Charlotte hosted FAU this past Saturday. For Charlotte, this was a make or break game for the season. A win here would send them to their first bowl game under coach Greedy. It started out in FAU's favor, as Wyatt Sullivan caught a pass from Cam Fancher with less than a minute left in the first quarter. Charlotte answered with a touchdown pass from Max Brown to Jake Clemons, but it didn't take long for FAU to answer and take the lead back at 12-7. Charlotte finished the first half out strong, scoring a touchdown and getting a safety before heading to the locker room. The score at the half was 16-12. The Third quarter was all Charlotte, with 2 touchdowns, a field goal and a safety to head into the fourth quarter with a 35-12 lead. FAU scored in the fourth, but it proved to be too little too late and the 49ers won the game 35-18.
Charlotte finishes the regular season 6-6.
