The Wolverines Thanksgiving Feast included Coach FootballKelly and some Northwestern Grilled Wildcat. Last nights game was an eventful night, full of distractions, great conversation, and Pennsylvania Talk. The Wolverines showed they were able to play a solid game in their final away game of the season beating the Wildcats 31-7.
The Wolverines defense played tough all evening, forcing 3 turnovers (2 interceptions and 1 fumble), 12 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. The Defense was led by Mason Graham (9 tackles, 6 TFL, and 2 sacks) and Makari Paige (2 tackles and 2 interceptions). Phreakk was proud of the defense limiting the Wildcats to 146 yards of total offense and 7 points allowed.
The Wolverines Offense started the game lights out and were led by Alex Orji and Amorion Walker. Orji connected with Walker on a 24 yard Corner route to open scoring. On the ensuing drive, Michigan's Defense forced a beautifully a placed Wilcat punt to the Wolverines one yard line. On the second play, Orji connected with Walker again for a 98 yard touchdown. The Wolverines 4th touchdown came on a 94 yard Alex Orji option run.
The Wolverines AD approached Phreakk after the game and let him know that if he did not defeat the Wildcats, he would've been ousted at Michigan. Phreakk is proud of his team and looks forward to NDL Season 31 as the Wolverines Head Coach.
All eyes face toward a matchup against Ohio State at the Big House.
