BYU drops to 0-6 in Big 12 play after suffering a brutal loss at Kansas. Theres not much to say here other that Kansas dominated BYU and jumped up to a 35-0 lead after the first 8 minutes of play. A lucky deep ball caught by Chase Roberts was the only thing preventing the game from being a perfect 35-0. Coach TBB still looking for that 3rd win to complete his win goal.

The Kansas Jayhawks delivered a dominant performance as they handily defeated the BYU Cougars by a score of 35-7. While the Cougars managed to score a late touchdown to avoid the shutout, it was a bittersweet consolation for BYU as the Jayhawks' stifling defense had already firmly taken control of the game. Kansas' defense was the driving force behind the victory, forcing three crucial interceptions and holding the Cougars to under 100 total yards of offense. The Jayhawks' ability to completely shut down the BYU attack was a testament to their disciplined, swarming defensive scheme that left the Cougars offense scrambling all afternoon. Complementing the defensive effort was an efficient, mistake-free performance from the Kansas offense. Quarterback Jalon Daniels orchestrated the attack with precision, completing all but two of his pass attempts and avoiding any turnovers. The Jayhawks' balanced, methodical offensive approach allowed them to sustain long drives and wear down the BYU defense, ultimately resulting in the convincing 35-7 triumph. This dominant win marked the fifth time this season that the Kansas defense has held an opponent scoreless for the majority of the game, showcasing the team's ability to completely shut down opposing offenses.
