Coach Vic can taste a bowl

Coach Vic and the Spartans are one win closer to a bowl game thanks in large part to the defense in the Spartans win over Oregon State. The defense led the way with 5 turnovers and only held the beavers to 209 yards of total offense. DJ Harvey led the way with 4 tackles 2 interceptions and a touchdown (pick 6) Robert (rocket) Rahimi also had 7 tackles and an interception, Jordan Pollard also led the team in tackles with 8 had a TFL and a fumble recovery to boot.

The offense was as balanced and steady as they been the season with smash and dash having a combined 182 yards and a touchdown. Walker eget had his best day with only 4 incompletions and 3 tds 2 to Justin Lockhart and one to nick nash who has had a td in the last three games.

Next up there will be two chances to get to bowl eligibility hopefully he gets two wins but we shall see against UNLV and Stanford.
