Georgia Southern was back to their normal playing habits this week. French threw five picks and the defense couldn't stop water with a dam. On a positive note Tyler Fromm, younger brother of old Ga qb Jake Fromm caught ten receptions for over 150 yards. We're in the growing pains right now but Georgia Southern will keep up fighting for those wins and one day be a household football name.
The South Alabama Jaguars were on fire this week, overpowering the Georgia Southern Eagles 47-32. Jaguars’ quarterback Gio Lopez led an efficient offense, putting up 345 total yards and cashing in on crucial red-zone opportunities with three touchdowns. The defense made a big impact, forcing five turnovers and snagging three interceptions that derailed the Eagles' impressive 418-yard passing game. The Jaguars continue to make their mark, showing they’re ready for any challenge.
