Indiana hung around with powerful Spartans from Michigan St all game long. The Hoosiers kept the high scoring Spartans to just 21 points in this contest, but could only mustard 17 points of their own. Indiana scored on defense and a Lawton run in the second to give Indiana a lead at the half.
The second half Indiana was Outscored 14-3, but still had a chance to pull the game out only down 21-17 and driving for the go head score . Unfortunately Indiana fumbled that opportunity with less than 2 minutes in the ball game. Coach Ank said we called a WB dive, but low and behold our QB decides to run a dive.. well he fumbled , MSU recovered and we once again find a way to lose that we should have won.
