Article By: Memphis took a big one over Charlotte. Memphis had no issues utilizing the big holes and open receivers while Charlotte was held to 6/17 passing and zero rush yards. Memphis' defensive backs had better catching percentages than the 49er receivers. Just when you thought a Charlotte receiver was about to make a catch, it was instead a drop. Coverage wasn't a factor in the drops for the 49ers, as even the open receivers were able to drop the ball.
Charlotte looks on to Tulane.

Article By: Memphis improved to 6-1 (4-0) with a 34-3 win over Charlotte this afternoon
Story of the game was the Memphis defense who limited the 49ers to zero yards rushing , 3 first downs and 73 total yards.
The defense also came up with 4 interceptions including a pair of pick sixes.
Seth Henigan paced the offense going 11 of 14 for 120 and a pair of touchdown passes to Kolby Drake.
By far the best our defense has looked said Coach MGR after the game. Hopefully they can repeat this when we host Coach Victim and UTSA later this week.
