Jeanty hit the Rebels hard from the jump

BSU extends win streak to 5

Article By: iRoccafella

Boise ID - Given the Boise St Broncos' slow starts, today was a welcome sight. Ashton Jeanty set the tone early hitting a 57-yard run on the first play following UNLV's opening drive and didn't look back. Jeanty would finish the day midway through the 3rd with 211 yards and 3 TDs Maddux Madsen put up his usual efficiency metrics throwing 3 passes and completing all 3 for 81 yards and TD.

The Bronco D was the hero of the week, holding the Rebels to a mere 5 yards rushing, something the Broncos have been inconsistent with most of the season. The air defense was opportunistic once again with another 4 INTs and a Defensive touchdown to go with the onslaught. Amarion McCoy's INT streak ended today, as he could not get his hands on the ball. He is tied for 2nd in Division I for INTs on the season and will look to continue his ball-hawking ways.

As we head into the season's twilight, the Broncos will attempt to remain unbeaten in what is more or less an elimination round for the MWC championship next week's rivalry game against SDSU.

Offensive Woes Continue

Rebels Fall at Broncos

Article By: Black Rain

Runnin Rebels Struggles Continue, as they get upended at Boise State and this game was not even close. It was the exact opposite of last season's results, where it went down to the last possession. Boise State's defense set the tone and sacked QB Cameron Friels five times, and demolished the run game of the Rebels. Boise States RB Jeanty ran all over the Rebels defense with ease, as the 57 yard run on the first play, he was caught in the backfield, but broke three tackles and ran into the endzone. After that run, the Rebels morale was terrible. Broncos played tough defense, and Quarterback Cameron Friel, the third string quarterback at the start of the season struggled mightily. Back to the practice field.
