UNLV's run game finally opened up, and the Rebels defense showed up at key intervals of the game. Where was this run game the past four games? How come the defense showed up finally? I think it is the home field advantage, as the Rebels have been on the road for the three losses, and the road losses show how bad the Rebels are coached. The road losses have piled up, and the run game has been non existent, and that is the staple of this offense. If the run game is shut down, so does the Rebels chance of winning, either shut out or close to it. This game, the Rebels escaped with a victory, and the defense finally did something. I know it sounds bad from a coaches perspective, but it has to be said, stop being weak and show up against your opponents! Rebels win!
