Well, this was the last game of a long season for UCLA (having gotten a few games in early). It was a long time coming for this one, as one night was going to be a triple header, but let's call it scheduling miscommunication led to a few days delay.
Rutgers scored a few different ways. A safety, a punt return, and played some excellent in gerneral defense.
The UCLA offense had some good moments, but it was really a game of dinks (UCLA) vs chunks (Rutgers). It was almost like the teams were playing in a different game, or league. UCLA did get a nice drive together for a FG to get on the board. By then, the damage was well and truly done.
