Northwestern traveled to Wisconsin to get smoked.
Wisconsin got the opening kick and the Wildcat defense forced a punt. The offense came out and moved the ball into the Badgers territory (only time during the game) but an underthrown go route resulted in a pick. Wisconsin would see thier drive stop at the 38 and the 55 yard field goal was pushed just left. Wildcats would go three and out. Quarter would end 0-0.
Wisconsin would put a long drive together, converting 2 third downs and after missing the first kick didnt want to chanse it and converted a 4th in short from the 33 in route to a 1 yard Td run. Wildcats would get a first down but be forced to punt with just over a minute and a half left in the half. Wisconsin found their mojo and would score from 2 yards out to go into half 14-0.

Northwestern would go three and out (without a sack this time). Wisconsin would run the last four minutes off the clock to seal the win.
Good Game RB4, just wasn't my day. Best of luck the rest of the way.
Week 8 was Wisconsin’s statement week, as the defense stepped up to hold Northwestern to under 100 yards of offense.
The first quarter was a slug fest which looked like may provide a classic big ten 13-10 type of game, but the badgers offense is what woke up in the 2nd quarter.
After a 0-0 1st, Wisconsin went on to get the short passing game going to start the 2nd which then led to the deep pass and run game. Sophomore QB Locke has stepped up big time, throwing 4 TDs and 0 INTs this block and in this match up going 16-21 for 207 and a TD.
The run game once again complimented the pass as Tawee walker Ran for 108 yards and a TD.
“We were balanced and our defense road the crowd and momentum wave today” said coach RB.
Ricardo Hallman nabbed another INT which now brings him to 2nd in the country. The defense forced 5 sacks, a fumble and recovery, plus 2 INTs to close out a dominant performance.
Wisconsin has now won 5 straight games after a tough road start to the season, but students and fans alike in Madison are starting to wonder, can this team find itself in the mix in the big 10?
Gg Footballkelly. Tough momentum and HFA wave to overcome but gl in the big 10 to finish out.
