South Alabama Jaguars fell apart shortly after the 1st Quarter giving up 24 points in the 2nd. Freshman QB Gio Lopez had a terrible night on the road throwing 5 interceptions. The Jaguars look to pick their head up and bounce back as they move forward in the schedule
The Trojans of Troy fell behind early but reeled off 24 unanswered to close the half. After scoring another unanswered touchdown, Troy took a 31-10 lead and never looked back. They dominated their rival until the final whistle with a commanding score of 45-24. The Trojans are now 2-0 in Sun Belt play and 5-1 overall. Coach Carr is hoping that his team will not only win out but for Ball State (4-2) to win out as well. The Cardinals are the only blemish on the Trojans schedule and the more they both win, the better Troy looks.
