MANHATTAN, KANSAS - AP

Kansas State defense held until they couldn't anymore today. The Wildcats put on a great display in the first half but a few busts and a defensive score spelled doom. After a tough break on a fumble after a stop on the punt return the Wildcats were down 3-0 after confusing CU inside the red area. The wildcat D held tough until right before the half when Sanders found Jimmy Horn Jr. with 3:59 left in the 2nd. KSU was able to get a FG with 1:21 remaining which gave Sanders enough time to engineer another 3 points before the half.

The second half it all unraveled for K-State defensive busts gave up chunks and TDs and mistakes on offense as Johnson had one of his worst days throwing 3 costly picks, 2 in the endzone and one resulting in the back breaking 99 yard return by Hunter. The Wildcats added a junk score with seconds left on the clock to lose 34-10.

GG, tough to do anything against your squad.

Colorado Wins Ugly

Article By: Dcanady1

In a hard-fought defensive battle at Kansas State, Colorado emerged victorious with a dominant 34-3 win. The game was marked by relentless defensive play from both teams, but it was Colorado’s Travis Hunter who made the game’s most electrifying play. In the second quarter, Hunter intercepted a pass and sprinted 99 yards for a touchdown, a momentum-shifting play that set the tone for the rest of the game. Despite Kansas State’s best efforts, they struggled to generate offense against the Colorado defense, and the Buffaloes sealed the win with timely stops and efficient scoring, leaving the Wildcats unable to answer. The 34-3 result was a testament to Colorado’s defensive prowess and Hunter’s game-changing performance.
